Hiranyagarbha Seva Sanstha's story is a testament to the power of passion, dedication, and community engagement. Our journey from student-initiated activities to a well-established not-for-profit organization is inspiring. By focusing on the tribal areas of Sudhagad – Pali Tehsil in the Raigad District, we are working to address critical issues the communities face.

The fact that the organization was started by Mumbai University MA. Social work students who were directly involved in the community through field action projects speak to their deep connection and understanding of the local challenges. 

The emphasis on youth leadership training and social education classes highlights our approach to empowering local individuals to become agents of change within their own communities. By investing in local talent and providing them with the tools and skills they need, we at HSS are fostering a long-term impact that goes beyond immediate interventions.

The organization's credibility with the tribal communities is a testament to our genuine efforts and commitment. This credibility is essential for effective community engagement and cooperation in any development initiative.

Our interventions are comprehensive and encompass a range of vital areas. From overcoming economic and social marginalization to providing health and nutrition services, we are addressing the multifaceted challenges the communities face. The focus on developing self-help groups (SHGs) for women among the tribes is particularly important as it contributes to women's empowerment and socio-economic development. Initiating income-generating activities to prevent migration is a proactive step toward addressing a key issue. By creating opportunities for livelihood within the community, we are not only improving the economic conditions but also preserving the cultural fabric and social bonds that migration often disrupts.
